Overview

Wake Up is a 2D dark point-and-click mystery and puzzle game developed by R16 Studio in Bulgaria.
The game plunges players into a surreal, eerie environment where every object hides a clue, every puzzle tells part of the story, and every decision shas your path.

Story / Plot

You wake up in a strange room with no memory of how you got there. The room is filled with strange objects, puzzles, and notes. Slowly, you begin to uncover the truth about yourself and your past.

  • Alex, the protagonist, is the only successful experiment of a sinister doctor.

  • Eli, a mysterious man, saved Alex and locked him in the room to protect him.

  • Alex must complete tasks, solve puzzles, and collect documents to confront the doctor.

  • There are eight endings:

    • First: Alex is captured and loses consciousness.

    • Second: Alex wakes up again in his house, as if everything is starting over.

    • Third: Alex escape.

    • Fourth: Doc take Alex wife and experiment with her.

    • Fifth: Secret.

    • Sixth: Secret.

    • Seventh: Secret.

    • Eighth: Secret.

Characters

  • Alex – Main character, trapped in his house, trying to discover the truth.

  • The Doctor – Once a normal man, now conducting experiments on people with mental issues.

Gameplay

Development

  • Developed by R16 Studio, Bulgaria.

  • Unity (C#) engine used for full control over puzzles, inventory, and story flow.

  • The first chapter, Rebirth, lasts about 45–50 minutes in beta.

  • Optimizations and bug fixes included in v0.11.920.

  • The game is heavily inspired by Rusty Lake and Bad Dream: Coma.
